Writer’s Digest

I collaborate with Writer’s Digest on webinars and teach several classes for Writer’s Digest University.

• I teach a personal essay class that I cap at 8 students.
• And for beginner writers I teach a class called Getting Started in Writing where we go through all the genres.

Speaking

I am a TEDx Speaker. My 2025 TEDx talk at Boston College is called “How to Get Noticed in Your Writing and Beyond“.  I am so grateful for this opportunity to share my best writing advice, a memorable story from my past tied to Thomas the Tank Engine, and a vulnerable moment that showed me just how much hearing messages matter.
